Wilkinson spent thousands of his own money to take out a full page ad in The Hollywood Reporter as an open letter to the Bruce Willis, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, and Len Wiseman, the star, producer, and director of the upcoming Die Hard sequel/prequel, "Die Hard: Year One".
