Stephen Colbert Funds $800,000 In Grants In S.C. is a crowd funding site where teachers can request help for their schools and classrooms, in any way, big or small. Stephen Colbert, proving he's the greatest man ever, announced today that he will pay for every existing grant request in South Carolina. Check out the announcement video below.

If you were listening, you heard that Colbert is using the proceeds from the auction where he sold a lot of the set from The Colbert Report. According to Greenville Online:

Colbert partnered with The Morgridge Family Foundation ‘s Share Fair Nation and ScanSource, which is headquartered in Greenville, to fund nearly 1,000 projects for more than 800 teachers at over 375 schools, totaling $800,000.

My only complaint? Colbert seems to have gotten rid of that SWEET beard.
