Prolific street artist Banksy made waves when he opened the fake theme park Dismaland, and it did well like gangbusters. Now, with the end of the park in sight, the fate of the models and exhibits were up in the air.
It's just been revealed that Banksy is going to donate the models to a refugee camp in Calais, with close to 5,000 people in the camp in need of service. The artist updated the Dismaland webpage to show the future of the park:
It's pretty damn cool that the exhibits are going to good use, and that while strange, they'll hopefully provide some shelter in Calais to those in the refugee camp.
